Warrior's Call · Last updated 17 September 2026

Warrior's Call is a puzzle game published by Benjamin Ci Young Tan. This page explains what the game collects, what it does not, and which other companies are involved.

The short version

The game has no accounts and no server of ours, and everything you do in it stays on your phone. What does involve other companies is the advertising and the app stores' payment systems, and those collect data of their own. The rest of this page is the detail.

What stays on your device

The game saves the following in its own storage on your phone:

None of this is sent to us. None of it is connected to your name or to any account. If you delete the game, all of it goes with it and cannot be recovered, including any souls you have not spent.

What we collect

Nothing. There is no sign-up, no login, and no server of ours for the game to talk to. We do not receive your name, email address, contacts, photos, files, or location. The game runs no analytics and no crash reporting.

Advertising

The game is free and is paid for by advertising. It shows an occasional advert between levels, and offers an advert you can choose to watch in exchange for a free scout. The adverts are served by Google AdMob.

In connection with those adverts, Google may collect and process:

Google uses this to serve, measure and, where permitted, personalise adverts. How Google handles it is set out in Google's Privacy Policy and in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

Your choices about adverts

Purchases

Souls are bought through Apple's App Store or Google Play. The store handles the payment. We never see your card details, billing address, or any other payment information.

We use RevenueCat to keep the record of what has been purchased, which is what makes Restore purchases work when you reinstall the game or move to a new phone. RevenueCat receives the purchase receipt issued by the store and an anonymous identifier generated for your installation. That identifier is not your name or email address, and we do not link it to you. Its handling is described in RevenueCat's privacy policy.

Souls are consumable and are spent inside the game. They exist only on the device where they were bought or earned, and a reinstall does not bring them back. The advert-free state is remembered outside the game, through iCloud on Apple devices and Google's own backup on Android, so it returns when you reinstall or move to a new device signed in to the same account.

Children

Warrior's Call is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided information through the game, write to ashyleyzhao@gmail.com and we will act on it.

Your rights

Because the game holds no personal data of ours about you, there is usually nothing for us to retrieve, correct or delete. Deleting the game removes everything it has stored. For data held by Google in connection with advertising, or by Apple, Google Play or RevenueCat in connection with a purchase, please use the rights and controls those companies provide, linked above.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. If a change is significant we will say so in the game or on the store listing.
